Meet the SOS Principle Team
Mike LoCascio
Founder and CEO
Mike has a vast knowledge of the water treatment industry with nearly 30 years in the field. Mike has been integral to the development of the SOS water treatment systems. Prior to Mike starting SOS he spent 20 years working for some of the largest water treatment companies in America, founded the Ethanol group for US Water Services, and oversaw the installation and commissioning of the water systems in 40 dry grind fuel ethanol plants. Mike has spent the better part of the last 10 years developing the SOS technology from designing and building the RDS machines to patenting the chemical process. Mike is an accomplished private pilot, an avid fisherman, and an upland bird hunter.
Mike Daly
CEO/Founder of Betz Specialty Chemical
Michael Daly is a principal partner in the operations. Mr. Daly is engaged in R&D, strategic planning, business development relationships, and hands on project management. His focus within distillery operations ranges from whiskeys to rum with regards to stillage and vinasse management along with non-potable ethanol projects, including food and beverages.
Mr. Daly has 32 years experience in the industry. He has served in various roles in General Electric in the Specialty Chemical division for R&D including beta testing, technical sales, management, and leading six sigma projects. He has also served in the oil and gas industry for catalysts optimization in refineries, custom catalysts in the refinery and gas to liquids spaces.
Mr. Daly is president and manages Betz Specialty & Custom Chemicals Company while also participating actively in a joint venture with Soluble Organic Solutions.
Michael graduated from Bellarmine University with a B.S. in Chemistry.
Kenny Lewton
Project Manager
Kenny is a retired Marine Corps Officer with 30 years of experience managing large scale operations. Ken will be responsible for working with each client to meet delivery, installation and commissioning schedules and relay those to the fabrication team as well as working with the automation and controls team.
Ken also has the added responsibility of going on the road with our small demonstration system and working on site with clients to show them how the process works and what the client can expect in terms of performance.
Todd Baily
Advanced Fabrication
Advanced Fabrication is located just down the road from our offices and is a small custom fabrication shop with a team of fabricators and designers that has worked closely with SOS to develop the rotating drum screen as well as all custom mounting systems. If you have a need for a custom piece of equipment - we can help.
Perry Mulcrone
Sales/Marketing/IT
Perry is the newest member to SOS team. In addition to sales, Perry is helping develop our remote monitoring and control packages as well as creating our marketing campaigns regarding our new products and services. He has over 25 years experience in IT, digital experience, project management and marketing/sales.
